IR Institute – 2010

The 2010 IR Foundations Institute is meant to provide a general introduction to the practice of Institutional Research and an introduction to statistical analysis for IR. The institute is aimed primarily at staff members at institutions of Higher Education in the Southern African region who are relatively new to the practice of institutional research, although the programme may be of benefit to those with more experience as well. Institutional research is understood to include the management information that institutions of Higher Education gather for their own planning and management purposes, and the data they provide to Government.
