ABSTRACT

The theme of the conference, Student Success, is aimed at exploring existing practices, but also to expand the boundaries of existing institutional research (IR) and quality assurance (QA) frameworks that address student success in higher education. Forum 2010 is designed to provide opportunities for self-reflection to institutional research, planners and quality assurance professionals, as well as interaction with a range of other stakeholders (including higher education leaders and managers, higher education professionals, academic developers, educational developers, administrators and researchers) on how to improve Student Success. Papers reporting research results and critical reflection on the value added by institutional research and quality assurance professionals and their contribution to the improvement of student success are therefore specifically invited.
